PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This Greenfield Distribution Facility features 9 separate buildings comprising freezer, chiller and ambient stores, 18 booted recessed docks, administration offices as well as a truck service centre, and accommodation for 40 drivers   The site holds B-double parking for 60 trucks, 45 prime movers, 90 cars, a refueling entre, weighbridge and dual truckwash. As with any industrial development the key to viability is efficient site planning and “lean” design. Visionata was able to influence early design decisions by using our in-house vehicle tracking and sweep analysis software, thereby optimizing site layout with confidence traffic movement was efficient and realistic.
